ORAL (ONLINE) MODERATOR GUIDELINES:

The virtual conference will be performed using Zoom

  1. During the meeting, the room host will ensure that you have appropriate permissions.
  2. Moderator is suggested to use the AIWEST-DR virtual background during the conference (download here).
  3. The host will mute the moderator’s microphone until is time to present.
  4. Moderator will introduce the speaker at the appropriate time.
  5. Presenter is given 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
  6. Moderator will monitor all questions and facilitate the Q&A session

 

ORAL (ONLINE) PRESENTER GUIDELINES

The virtual conference will be performed using Zoom

  1. As a presenter, you are required to upload your presentation slides in PPT format to PIC Email, with the subject title PPT for AIWEST 2021
  2. Name of the PPT file: ORAL_Track Number_Your Paper ID. For example,
  3. Presenter must indicate the ID paper in front of their name in Zoom, before joining the room. For example, 1234_John Wayne.
  4. Presenter  is suggested to use the AIWEST-DR virtual background during the conference (download here)
  5. During the meeting, the room host will ensure that you have appropriate permissions.
  6. The host will mute the speaker’s microphone until is time to present.
  7. The room host will introduce all the participants and the moderator will introduce the speaker at the appropriate time.
  8. When it is your time to present:
    1. The host will assist you to share screen your slides
    2. The host will unmute yourself during the presentation
    3. We encourage you to place your headshot and your contact information as the first slides for the participants to know who is talking
  9. Presenter is given 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
  10. Questions and Answers:
    1. Participants will be able to ask questions via chat feature. Participants must write their name and affiliation.
    2. Moderator will monitor all questions until the Q&A session
  11. During Q&A, presenter must turn on the camera
